Education

• 1984: graduated with honors from the Tsitelkhevi first secondary school #1;
• 1992: graduated with honors from the Faculty of Transport of the Georgian Technical University, specializing “Bridges and Tunnels” and got a diploma of a civil engineer;

• 1992: enrolled at the Faculty of Law of Tbilisi Independent University “Iveria”, specializing in jurisprudence, which he graduated with honors in 1997;

Work experience

• 1993-1997: a bridge engineer in the 10th Road Operation Division of the State Concern “Sakhavtogza”;
• 1997: enrolled in the Tinatin Tsereteli Scientific Research Institute of State and Law of the Georgian Academy of Sciences, specializing in criminal law, which he graduated in 2000;
• 2000-2004: the chief specialist of the legal department, then the head of the legal department in the Didube-Chugureti District Tax Inspection of the Tax Department of the Ministry of Revenue;
• 2004-2005: the chief specialist of the Legal Issues and Complaints Division in the Tbilisi Tax Inspection of the Tax Department of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia;
• 2005-2007: a lawyer, head of legal service and head of administration, OPIZA Custom Terminal;
• Since 2009, a member of the Georgian Bar Association, a general practice attorney, specializing in juvenile justice;
• 2012-2013: a senior investigator in the Anti-corruption Investigation Department of the Tbilisi Prosecutor’s Office;
• Since 2014: a prosecutor of Tbilisi’s Vake-Saburtalo District Prosecutor’s Office;
• 2014-2015: a prosecutor of Mtskheta District Prosecutor’s Office;
• For years he has worked as a lawyer in various private companies; he has passed the tax, prosecutor’s office and lawyers qualification exams; is fluent in the Georgian and Russian languages.
